Some 130 students made Pulau Ubin their home. The event? They came together for the third run of Camp Evo. Having bonded over the 4 days, they are now also staying in touch on the Facebook group "Camp EVO III".
Organised by the National Crime Prevention Council, Camp EVO aims to :-
(b) Encourage proactive learning, build up self-esteem and interpersonal communication skills;
(c) Instill sound values and develop a positive attitude towards life and breaking existing ‘negative’ mindsets to allow for greater self discovery; and
(d) Get youths to be ‘community-aware’ and to recognise the role they can play in society.
One of the highlights included the SG United Key Punch Game through which the youths learnt in a fun and interactive way, that we all need each other more than we realise, and that we all need to come together to overcome crises, and to stay together as a 'Singapore United'.
