"CampTeen: Youth Racial Harmony Ambassadors Programme 2007" is a programme organised by OnePeople.sg which aims to nurture a group of youth racial harmony ambassadors with the initiative, commitment and leadership to promote racial harmony and social cohesion in Singapore.
100 participants will go through a 4D3N residential programme from 10-13 November 2007 at the Camp Challenge Ubin (on Pulau Ubin) to enhance cultural competencies, and hone leadership and project management skills. They will be divided into five workgroups to conceptualise and see through projects showcasing Singapore's multi-culturalism in support of Singapore's bid for the Youth Olympic Games in November to December 2007.
The programme is developed and delivered by Dr Gan Su-lin, Director of Republic Polytechnic’s Centre for Culture and Communication and Council Member of the 10th National Youth Council.
