Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) held its annual Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration on 2nd October 2009 at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall.

The celebration was decked with wonderful performances and traditional mid-autumn delicacies. The Guest-of-Honour for the event was Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence.

SCCCI, in recognition and encouragement of outstanding students and doing its part in community engagement, gave out two sets of scholarships during this festive celebration. The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Scholarship was presented to nine undergraduates while the joint SCCCI-Mendaki Scholarship, was awarded to four Malay-Muslim undergraduates from our three local universities (photo above).
