At the 10th anniversary of the Community Safety and Security Programme (CSSP) and the National CSSP Awards Ceremony at the Home Team Academy on Wed, 18 July 2007, DPM Wong Kan Seng commended the CSSP practitioners for helping to progress CSSP into one that through tackling safety and security concerns together, created cohesive communities. Such communities are where trust and confidence will stand us in good stead in a crisis.

At the 10th anniversary of the Community Safety and Security Programme (CSSP) and the National CSSP Awards Ceremony, DPM Wong expressed hope that more youths be involved in CSSP projects, like the involvement of some in organising the recent CSSP Challenge Camp. He commended the CSSP practitioners for helping to progress CSSP into one that through tackling safety and security concerns together, created cohesive communities. Such communities are where trust and confidence will stand us in good stead in a crisis.
