The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) launched the Individual Readiness Assessment (IREA) tool on 1 September 2007 to provide individuals with an assessment tool to gauge their current readiness level in coping with both conventional and unconventional emergencies. Contents of the programme are based on emergency preparedness areas of First Aid, CPR, Fire Safety, Emergency Procedures and Unconventional Threats.
