HOMEFRONT SECURITY MONTH 2007

• What should you do if a bomb goes off in your neighbourhood?

As recent real life incidents around the world have shown, it is the actions taken by the people immediately at the scene of a disaster that make a real difference whether or not they survive the disaster.

September is Singapore’s Homefront Security Month. In its third year, Homefront Security Month aims to raise the community’s awareness of the importance of emergency preparedness.

Together with other community partners, the Home Team will bring the message of self-help to the heartlands, the schools, the business sector and more, through a series of engaging activities. Ranging from hands-on demonstration of first aid techniques to emergency evacuation drills, we hope that such life-saving skills will help you make that difference when faced with a life and death situation.
