Participants were required to produce a news segment on the theme of National Integration.
This video by participants of Fuhua Secondary School team 1 won awards for "Best News", "Best Editing" and "Best Scripting" at the National Secondary School Chinese Media Camp 2010.The media camp was held on 3 and 4 Jun 2010, and was co-organised by Nanyang Junior College, South 6 School Cluster and MediaCorp, and supported by the CEP Secretariat. Participants were required to produce a news segment on the theme of National Integration.
Because "we are a multi-religious society, we must ensure that we have secular common space where Singaporeans can feel comfortable whatever their beliefs", said SM Goh at the MUIS International Conference on Muslims in Multicultural Societies.
About 1,000 participants comprising IRCC members, religious and community leaders and residents took part in the 3-km Inter-Faith Walk. Guest-of-Honour, Ms Denise Phua, MP for Jalan Besar GRC and Advisor to Kampong Glam Grassroots Organizations and IRCC, joined participants in the walk from the start to the finish.

"Racial and religious harmony are fundamental to our survival", said Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs Mr K Shanmugam at the National CEP Dialogue 2010.
The Singapore Polytechnic-Civil Defence Lionhearter Club was officially launched on 27 Oct 2009. One of the roles of the Lionhearter Club is to provide humanitarian assistance during overseas mission. The maiden overseas mission was a deployment to Pariaman, Padang City, from 13 Oct to 15 Oct, to help the earthquake victims.
